The student ministry team for the Southern Baptist Convention’s International Mission Board has a new Web site that takes “interactive” to a whole new level. For TheTask.org, it’s like having their own E-zekiel.tv. Students on mission can share videos they create of their experiences by uploading them to TheTask.org. Other students can view the videos, see what the mission experience is like, and hopefully take part in the effort.

The Web site is a custom design that incorporates E-zekiel.tv and the E-zekiel.com media manager to create a video-sharing site with administrative approval controls.
The technological tools that E-zekiel.com and E-zekiel.tv provide made it possible. “Their technology allowed us to do this,” said Marty Croll, Team Leader for Digital Communication Systems with the IMB. “It was extremely flexible and robust,” he added.

Announcing: Two Training Workshops, Two Locations, Two Dates in September
In September, E-zekiel customers have two options to participate in a full day of E-zekiel Web training. We had previously announced an E-zekiel training workshop to be held on Thursday, September 30 at the Alabama Baptist Convention State Board of Missions building in Montgomery, Alabama. And now we’ve added another date and location – Thursday, September 23 at Decatur United Methodist Church in Decatur, Georgia.
E-zekiel trainer and director of customer services, Dacia Gulledge, will conduct each training day. Topics will cover utilizing the syndication manager for podcasting, blogging, as well as discussing media options for audio and video such as E-zekiel.tv. You'll also look at the tips and tricks of the pages and panels managers, and explore the management of events (calendar) and forms.
